Building Jewish Bridges
Building Jewish Bridges: Embracing Interfaith Families began at Lehrhaus in 1998.
The goal is to provide programs that specifically address the needs and interests of interfaith families. Bay area Jewish population studies have found that the bay area counties have between 34 and 95% interfaith families in the Jewish community.
We joyously reach out to serve this huge segment of our community. Lehrhaus and Building Jewish Bridges partners with synagogue from all the movements, the Jewish Community Centers, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, and bay area Jewish organizations like Wilderness Torah, Be’chol Lashon, Coffee Shop Rabbi and Jewish Gateways.
