Join us for the 40th anniversary of commemorating Yom HaShoah in San Francisco. Our community program honors those who died in the Shoah and educates four generations that have followed about their legacy. Learn how survivors organized the first Holocaust Remembrance in San Francisco, and hear testimony from Hana Berger Moran, born in a concentration camp, who against all odds managed to survive and tell her mother’s story of hope and strength. This community-wide event is free and open to the public.

Presented by Jewish Family and Children’s Services Holocaust Center in partnership with Lehrhaus Judaica, Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, and the Jewish Community Relations Council; and in cooperating with San Francisco synagogues and schools
