Welcome Kevah

As you may have heard, the Kevah Groups program is now part of Lehrhaus Judaica. While this is big news for us, very little is changing for you. We warmly welcome Kevah Group hosts, participants, and educators to the community, and all groups are invited to continue meeting without interruption or changes.

Lehrhaus is committed to continuing to provide high quality Kevah Group experiences and support. We are thrilled to incorporate Kevah into the many programmatic offerings at Lehrhaus Judaica as we continue to support great Jewish learning in the Bay Area.

Kevah means a “set practice,” and for 10 years Kevah Groups have helped individuals and organizations make time in their lives to build Jewish learning communities.

Start a Kevah Group

As a Kevah Group host, you’ll have the opportunity to imagine and bring to life a new kind of Jewish learning for you and your friends. Hosts make a few key choices: the people with whom you want to learn, the topic(s) you want to explore, and when and where your group will meet.

Once a host creates a group and chooses a topic and location, Lehrhaus matches that group with an outstanding educator who creates a tailored curriculum. We also provide each group with a Kevah Group email address, which serves as a virtual home where members can message one another between sessions, receive reminders, and arrange other details.
