Join us for a special community event commemorating Holocaust Remembrance Day. Keynote Speaker Father Patrick Desbois is an internationally-renowned human rights activist who has devoted his life to researching the Holocaust, fighting antisemitism, and furthering relations between Catholics and Jews. He has discovered the unmarked graves of over 1.5 million Jews who died in the Shoah, and works to reveal their identities to ensure that nobody’s name is forgotten.

4:30 pm: Reading of the Names—prior to the event. To honor victims of the Shoah, please use this form to send us their names (alternatively, you can email remember@jfcs.org or call 415-449-1213).

6:00 – 7:15 pm: Memorial Commemoration and Program
Please note: We encourage you to bring photos of family members who survived or died in the Holocaust to display in a special community art project.

Presented by JFCS Holocaust Center in partnership with Lehrhaus Judaica, Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, Jewish Community Relations Council, and San Francisco Interfaith Council in cooperation with San Francisco synagogues and school.
